The Day of Wellness explores stress reduction techniques through workshops in meditation, mindfulness, movement therapy and holistic nutrition. On-site vendors will offer products that support healthy lifestyles and wellness, as well as gift items. The registration fee includes up to four workshops and a light lunch provided by Core Life Eatery and Karma Water. Workshop leader Jeanne Elmer will present on the Community Resiliency Model, while Pamela Hawkins offers Exploring Energy Work. Liz Hornak teaches the Essentials of Aromatherapy and Dana Emmings will offer an Intro to Ayurveda, a holistic approach to mind-body health. Local Pilates Studio owner, Tracey Janczak leads an Introduction to Pilates and wrapping up the day, Annie Urkfitz will lead Mindful Yoga and Meditation. Participating vendors include Core Rhythm Pilates, Bella Avani - Natural Botanical Skincare, Young Living Essential Oils, Good Life Tea, Norwex, ThirtyOne Gifts, and Arbonne. “The statics on” says event coordinator and movement therapist, Sarah Andreacchi, “Cobblestone wants to do its part to promote wellness and holistic self-care within the community at large. This is going to be a fantastic, relaxing, yet educational day!”
