Wild Walk: Stinky Skunk Cabbage

What’s that smell? Skunk cabbage is more than a stinky-smelling plant! Did you know that skunk cabbage creates its own heat, melting the snow around it? We’ll search for skunk cabbage in CNC’s wetlands, stopping to measure the temperature inside the plant and to learn more about its uniqueness. This program, led by CNC Educator Lann, is family friendly and open to all ages.
