Sheppard Mosher

Jason J. Mosher is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional and serves clients as a Financial Advisor and an Investment Advisor Representative. His educational background includes Cayuga Community College and The University at Buffalo.

Inspired by a childhood coach who was in the business, Jason began his career in financial services in 1998 and co-founded Sheppard Mosher in 2005. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses along with insurance licenses in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire and Montana.

Jason is active in the community, currently serving as a Town Councilman. He is a past board member of the Rotary Club of Geneva and is a life-long resident of Central New York. He shares his home with his wife of 19 years, Melissa, a certified social worker at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center and their two children Jason and Braedon.

Jason M. Mosher, a Paraplanner, brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical experience to our team. He graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics from Saint John Fisher University, where he also completed his Master of Business Administration.

Jason’s passion for finance began long before his formal education, inspired by observing his father’s career. This passion led him to join the team at Sheppard Mosher, where he’s excited to work alongside his father and meet many of the firm’s clients.
